Who is responsible for your information

What we collect and why

When you ask for a quote we may collect your name, email address, phone number, postcode, service requirements, preferred timing, contact preference, and any details you choose to provide. We use this information to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote, arrange a visit, and deliver the service you request.

Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing a contract if you become a customer. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without a separate lawful basis.

What we share

We don't sell your data. Service providers that may process your information on our behalf: Vercel (hosting), Web3Forms (form delivery, when enabled), and our email provider. Each is bound by their own privacy terms.

Cookies and external links

We don't use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, Meta Pixel, or Google Analytics. Our hosting provider may keep essential security and server logs. If you follow a link to Instagram, Facebook, or WhatsApp, that service's own privacy terms apply.

How long we keep your information

Enquiries that don't become bookings are normally kept for up to 12 months. Customer records may be kept longer where needed for service history, insurance, accounting, or legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us for access to your information, to correct or delete it, to restrict its use, or to provide a portable copy. Email thecarpetlabuk@gmail.com to make a request.
